1. Who we are
Build your e-book (buildyourebook.com) and Monte seu e-book (monteseuebook.com) are operated by C S Cabral Tech Solutions (trade name CSC Tech), a sole proprietorship (empresário individual) registered in Brazil under CNPJ 53.470.541/0001-40, at Rua Quintino Bocaiúva, 625, Sala 04, Torre, João Pessoa/PB, CEP 58.040-320, Brasil. Support: admin@csctech.com, answered within 5 business days.
By creating a project or paying for the service you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy.
2. The service
You paste text or upload a file, pick a layout style, and the system generates an A5 PDF e-book. Before paying you see a watermarked preview of the first pages. After a one-time payment you download the full PDF and may publish a sales page at an address of your choice under our domain, with a button pointing to a link you provide.
- Price: US$ 19 per project, one-time, charged by Dodo Payments. In Brazil, R$ 97 via Pix or card.
- Delivery: the full PDF is available for download as soon as the payment is confirmed, from your project link and the confirmation e-mail.
- Edits: you can edit the text, switch styles and regenerate the PDF at no extra cost.
- Access: your project is reached through a link that carries a secret key. Anyone with the link can edit the project. Keep it private.
For purchases outside Brazil, Dodo Payments is the authorized reseller and merchant of record: you buy from Dodo, which handles payment, taxes and chargebacks under its own buyer terms. We remain responsible for the service, the content you receive and this refund policy.
3. Your text stays yours
You keep all copyright in your text, your images and the generated e-book. To provide the service you grant us an express, non-exclusive, royalty-free and limited license to host, reproduce, lay out, generate the PDF and, if you publish, display the sales page. The license covers only those purposes and ends when you ask us to delete the project.
The layout templates, code, brand and site are ours. The generated PDF is yours to use, sell and distribute as you wish.
4. What you warrant
By uploading content you confirm that you own the rights to the text, images and fonts, or hold a license to use them, and that the content breaks no law and no third-party right. If someone brings a claim because of your content, that claim is yours, and you will hold us harmless from resulting costs and losses.
5. Prohibited content
We do not accept, and we remove when found or reported, content that:
- copies someone else's work without permission (plagiarism, copyright or trademark infringement);
- involves sexual material with minors, in any form;
- incites discrimination, violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide;
- defames or exposes people;
- promotes scams, pyramid schemes or misleading advertising;
- discloses third parties' personal data without a legal basis;
- sells or teaches how to obtain illegal goods.
6. Reports and takedown
Anyone can report a sales page or e-book at buildyourebook.com/en/report or by e-mail. On a substantiated report we take down first and review afterwards: the page goes offline and the download is suspended while we review, within 2 business days. The author is notified by e-mail and may contest. Access logs are kept for the period required by Brazilian law.
7. The sales page is published by the author
The sales page is created and published by you, showing your name and contact e-mail. Any sale made from its button, the charge and the delivery to your reader are your responsibility: the button goes to a link of yours (payment, WhatsApp or store) and we do not intermediate that sale. Publishing requires a paid project and a valid contact e-mail.
8. Refunds
You may cancel within 7 calendar days of the payment confirmation for a full refund to the same payment method, no questions asked. Request it with the button on your project page or by e-mail. After a refund the full PDF and the sales page are disabled. Details in the Refund Policy. Where your local consumer law grants you more, that law applies.
9. Availability and limits
We do our best to keep the service up and your files stored, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Keep a copy of your text and of the downloaded PDF. The service lays out what you send: we do not review, edit or validate the content, and we give no legal, medical or financial advice about it.
We may close a project that breaches these Terms. Otherwise, changes to these Terms are published on this page with a new date; if they affect an already paid project we notify you by e-mail.
10. Law and venue
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Before any formal step, write to admin@csctech.com: most issues are solved in one conversation.
